Let’s face it the “quiet game” only gets us so far. However, I always say the same phrase: “Once everyone is packed up, floors cleaned, quiet and in their areas – we can play!”Īs is the case with many activities, the novelty wore off quickly playing the same game (or a few) each afternoon. Several students at the end of the day always ask to play a game. The students are so excited to play a game that I started using it as a classroom management tool. Packing up, dismissals, cleaning up their areas, bus calls, announcements… oh yeah, and on top of that the students’ voice levels are at an all-time high. ![]()
